Sleep Token

Ok, so I’m gonna get some hate for this take, but I just can’t really get into Sleep Token. Like, I get that they’re a vibe and all, but it’s just repackaged prog-rock (in my opinion), and prog rock never had any real soul to it (in my opinion). HOWEVER, I’m still open to having my mind changed. I keep giving them a try, it just hasn’t worked yet. We shall see.

Tom Petty

I’m exhausted.

Yesterday was a super long day. I couldn’t sleep the night before so I went up to my office at around 3am and started doing some work and didn’t get home until around 10:30pm last night. I did, though, get some good drumming practice in - I’m getting pretty good, if I might say so myself :-)

Today is sort-of a recovery day…sort-of. I still came to the office to do some last-minute prep before the long Easter weekend.

Me and Amber are going to go to dinner tonight (yay) - I love spending time with her and going out with her…she makes me look good :-)

Day #2

As many people know, I suffer from incredibly bad chronic fatigue. It effects every area of my life - it sucks. Lately, though, it has been exponentially worse and I think I know why. All of the news…the constant barrage of existential crises has really been weighing me down even more. It’s not healthy. I think I’m a glutton for punishment.

My first post...

This has been a long time coming. I have been debating starting a blog for years, but now I’m actually doing it. Not sure if I’ll be sharing it with anyone or not. I guess we will see!

The content on here is not going to structured or organized. It’s really just going to be stream of consciousness. Hopefully it will be cathartic for me.

I’ll talk to you later -

Joel
